The women-symbols, working as a source of inspiration for both Greece and the rest of the world, were the focus of the art exhibition “37°”, which took place on Saturday 04/03/2023 under the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis, at the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum. In view of Women’s Day and in order to honor these defining female personalities, a large number of visitors attended the event to admire the artworks of the exhibition inspired by Chrysa Barzoka’s “Persistent Art” group. The paintings of the painter of colors, Manos Ioannidis dominate the second floor and the Dome of the Museum, rendering in a unique way and with the artist’s characteristic colors, the portraits of Maria Callas, Irini Papas, Melina Merkouri, Marika Mitsotakis, Nana Mouschouri and Vicky Markidou. The presentation and analysis of the artworks by Manos Ioannidis was done by the professor of Art History of Athens University and leading art critic, Manos Stefanidis.
